Coatings from actiOn feed systems...
Bowl coatings can do much to reduce noise, protect part finish, improve feeding qualities and add years of service to the high wear areas on feeding and automation
equipment.
Some of the coatings available are: Devcon Flexane, urethane (spray or clothback), Carbide, Surlyn and Teflon.
We offer coatings on new projects as well as rework of existing equipment.
Devcon Flexane
Devcon Flexane is offered as an optional coating in applications where it is appropriate.

Application
|
|
Before coating, the bowl is carefully cleaned, taped and primed with Flexane-10 primer.
Devcon Flexane 80 is applied and allowed to 'cure'.
You can also purchase a kit to do coatings in-house.
Teflon Coating
|
This is an example of a teflon coated bowl. A common application for teflon is to enhance the feeding properties for parts that tend to
'grip' or 'adhere' to bare stainless tooling.
