| After years of research and engineering trials, Action Feed Systems officially released a totally revolutionary concept in noise control for vibratory feed systems. Short of completely enclosing a feeder bowl, there had previously been very few options for cutting the sound levels of vibratory feeders.
Although completely enclosing a feeding system does minimize sound levels, it greatly complicates access to the bowl for cleaning, non-conforming part removal and other necessary regular maintenance. This is especially beneficial with pharmaceutical or medical feeding applications were regular wash down is required.
Testing with sound equipment revealed that, in most cases, the majority of the sound level increase associated with a vibratory feed system were generated from the bowl interior and external tooling features, normally the top half of the feeder bowl.
